An Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress as well as a producer and writer. Davis was a professional since the age of three when she was a part of television ads. In her early years her character became a frequent guest presenter on Charles In Charge. This show was the number one show in syndication to be rated. Josie was nominated 3 times and won the prestigious Teenage In Film Award for playing Sarah Powell. When she was an adult and a main character in several television shows, Davis received 2 Lifetime Movie Network awards. Davis trained with Paul E Richards intensively for about twenty years, despite the fact that she was able to be enrolled in the prestigious USC Writing program. Davis was 24, and at the age of 24, auditioned for the biggest stars of Hollywood, Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. With just one performance, Davis was admitted to the renowned Actors Studio as a member with working privileges, then was made a Lifetime Member with a single invitation to audition. Davis was among the only two people accepted for the auditions that year out of more than 1,000 candidates.
